This website has been, and continues to be, a collaborative effort on the part of the entire community of Hico. We appreciate all those who have been involved and continue to make this site a valuable resource for those wanting more information about this fabulous Texas destination, as well as the surrounding area at the cusp of the Texas Hill Country. We would like to credit those who have specifically given time and energy to make this possible.
Jim Manganella, a citizen of Hico, graciously donated his time and his talents in taking the majority of photographs for this site. For Jim photography is both a profession, as well as a hobby. His photographs are well known throughout this area and have received national acclaim. A larger selection of Jim's photos can be found on his website www.manycoyotes.com and are also showcased in Hico's own Sugar Moon Art Gallery.
Mark Lynch, who is actually the camera man on the show "survivor," came to Hico to visit his friends Mike and Brenda James, owners of Homestead Hico. While Mark and his family were here, enjoying this small town getaway, Mark took some spectacular pictures of our historical downtown district and donated them to be featured on this site. We are truly thankful for his time and talent.
