Hunting and Fishing

The area surrounding Hico, Texas is well known throughout the state for having some of the best hunting and fishing in Texas.  Nearby Hamilton has often been called the Dove Hunting Capital of Texas.  Located on the cusp of the Texas Hill Country,  Hico is a perfect location to stop for a meal, or to stay for the night during an outdoor outing.  In recent years we have become a must stop shopping destination for hunter’s wives during hunting season.  Below is a list of local hunting leases provided by Lynn Allen owner of the Koffee Kup Family Resturant, as well as links to nearby hunting and fishing locations.
