Historic Preservation Association

Mission Statement
The mission of the Hico Historic Preservation Association is to preserve and protect the heritage of Hico.  Our goal is to make its citizens aware of the value of protecting its historic structures and history.

Goals
We hope to create a central business district which will save the integrity of the downtown area.
We will encourage owners of downtown buildings to apply for grants to restore historic structures.
We will generate a survey of homes and buildings significant to Hico’s past.
We will revive and recognize our social and cultural heritage.
With the help of the community we can achieve these and future goals.  Please join us in protecting and preserving our heritage.
