Details:Hico Review Club is having their Used Book Sale Saturday, April 4, from 9am to 5pm. This coincides with Pioneer Days/Billy The Kid Day. Hundreds of used books will be available, something for everyone! Books are priced to sell! All proceeds go toward scholarships. Used Book Sale location is Hico Community Center, 100 N. 15th - The Texas Steak Cook-off – All Day - http://www.texassteakcookoff.com/
Details:The Texas Steak Cook-off is an annual initiative introduced by the Hico Economic Development Corporation to promote Economic Growth and Tourism in Hico. More important, as a non-profit organization, all profits from the cook-off go to a worthy charity. Throughout the day, the public is invited to see and talk to all the chefs and learn their secrets. When it’s time for dinner, the public can choose the Backyard Chef they like most to prepare their steak dinner.

Details:This is the oldest Old Settler's Reunion in Texas. During the carnival and event we have the Annual Hico Talent Show and announce Hico's Citizen of the Year.

26th – 62nd Hico FFA Livestock Show
Details: This is the 62nd Hico FFA Livestock Show held at the Hico City Park on September 26, 2009. The livestock show starts at 9:30AM. The dog show starts at 1:00PM. All weight cards must be turned in at 9:00AM. There will be a concession stand for refreshments and snacks. 24th - Ladies' Night Out - Enjoy shopping downtown Hico from 4 to 7pm. Many merchants will offer refreshments, discounts, and prizes!
31st - Halloween - Bring your little ghouls and goblins downtown for Halloween treats at participating stores.

14th - Holiday Shopping Event - Enjoy shopping downtown Hico until 7pm. Stores will be decorated for the holidays, and many merchants will offer refreshments, discounts and prizes.
27th - Christmas Market
Details:From 9am to 4pm we will have arts and crafts as well as food vendors downtown. During which time at 10am we will be hosting our Doggie Fashion Show for all the local dog lovers in the area who wish to participate.
